The Vacation 2 Dalayed/Canceled, New Project.

You're probably dissapointed and wondering why I have decided to cancel the sequel to The Vacation. Taking this decission was hard, but I just felt that The Vacation doesn't have enough originality and potential in it for me to make a sequel. I've written the script for it, and as the first one I've been planning to do a mixture between using audio and scenes based on the 2003/2006 TTCM movies as well as changing the storyline with text and audio and mix scenes from both movies. But now as I'm feeling more confident and professional with creating machinima, and been taking it to the next level, I feel that It's not quality producing something like The Vacation anymore, though it might been a great movie directing vise, it's not quite original enough. So, I've decided to come up with a new original idea to work on, still quite similar to what The Vacation were inspired by, your're right, it's inspired by the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The movie is called Red County, and as much as I can say for now it will be about the atmosphere and situation of old rural areas. As well as portraying the character Leatherface and he's family, and where/how they lived, I will also portray Red County as a dangerous crimeful place including mysterious missing people, crime areas, isolated areas with crazy farmers/rednecks which will portray the whole atmosphere of the movie, and Leatherface.
My goal for it is to make it the official, best and most original idea for an Texas Chainsaw Massacre Machinima, and for now it's currently in the writing and modding stage. The research for The Vacation took a lot of time, but can still be used in this, so basically most of the research is done and I can enjoy writing this movie, and I guarantee that it will be good.
